Shadow Puppets is currently undecided on whether it will be a straight to DVD release or a big screen theatrical release. The movie has finished filming, and it is in post-production to have the finishing touches made to it according to Michael Winnick (director). The movie stars James Marsters, Jolene Blalock (Star Trek: Enterprise), and Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination). Movie Summary: Eight people awake in an abandoned asylum and soon discover that they are subjects of an experiment. As they try to escape, a vicious Shadow Creature stalks them, threatening their lives from the darkness. I've seen several 5 minute movie segments at a JM convention (Queen Mary event Sept. 2006), and I have to say that this movie looks great. I'm not usually into the "horror" genre, but I was impressed with this film. It seems more like a suspense thriller for the edge of your seat like the Hitchcock movies of old. The cinematography was fabulous, and the audience reactions to the scenes were good. I'm looking forward to its release.
